This is a very small open-air place near the bahnhof that can easily be missed if you’re not paying attention. There are about three or four tables for customers who want to eat-in, otherwise it’s more of a take-away style place. This is easily my favourite place to get Chinese food from, because I love places with great service, and I come back for the service. The food itself is also absolutely tasty! And the quantity really good. I have usuals that I like to order, but otherwise the menu has a lot of options.

🍴 China Restaurant FRIENDS
This is a Chinese buffet located on the outskirts of Offenburg, in Bühl. The food is great – there is a lot of variety and the price really attractive. The owners are native Chinese and the food has more of an authentic Chinese touch than any of the other restaurants mentioned in this blog. I can’t say much about the service, but the food is good enough to make you want to return.

This is a pretty big restaurant with really authentic décor – Chinese lanterns, Chinese paintings and even a Lazy Susan table. The food is delicious and the service really friendly. The waiting time could get a little long, but it’s worth it. The location is also quite ideal as it’s situated just around the city center.

🍴 China Shanghai Schnellrestaurant
To sum this restaurant up in one sentence is way too easy — horrible service. With so many alternatives, I don’t see who would ever eat at this place thrice. I definitely enjoy the décor, and the food gets a pass, but there’s a reason why there are so many courses out there on how to give good service. Because customers don’t return otherwise. I rate this place a zero.
These are just some of the restaurants that I have been to and reflects only my personal preferences. Go and try them out for yourself if you’re looking for something Chinese!
