About Abhishek
Hey everyone! I’m Abhishek, and I’m thrilled to be joining the blogger team here at Study in Germany. Originally from India, I recently embarked on a new adventure by starting my Master’s in Mechanics of Sustainable Materials and Structures (MS²) at TU Dortmund University. My fascination with materials science began during the pandemic when I took an online course on „Rocket Propulsion.“ This sparked a deep curiosity about the incredible materials needed to make space exploration a reality. Now, at TU Dortmund, I’m excited to delve deeper into this field and explore the transformative power of advanced materials for a sustainable future.
I’m not just all studies though! I also have a background in mechanical engineering and experience working as a Product Engineer, designing custom products for process control.
Throughout my educational journey, I’ve always been passionate about collaboration and knowledge sharing. In my undergrad, I led initiatives with Pie & AI and co-founded a tech club focused on AI and DeepLearning. I believe in the power of teamwork to unlock our full potential.
As a new blogger, I’m eager to share my experiences navigating student life in Germany, from academic challenges to cultural explorations. I’ll be writing about the unique aspects of studying abroad, the fascinating world of materials science, and the journey of adapting to a new environment.
