As a fashion lover, silversmith is without a doubt the best hobby I’ve adopted in recent years. I came to it after a conversation with a friend who had been taking ceramic courses at the and raving about her amazing experience, plus the fact that they have a diverse course portfolio, and we, as students, can receive up to 50% discount on course fees. Hell yeah! I thought. This is perfect! I’d better get a place instantly.

So, off I went to explore their website. And my friend definitely was right about their rich portfolio! From knife-wielding to bookbinding, from cooking to photography, the offers were almost overwhelming—but in a good way! Different from my initial plan of joining a ceramic class, it was actually silversmith that caught my attention.

Countless classes later, and I’m loving it more than ever! The joy of learning and creating is incredible, also thanks to the amazingly helpful and friendly course instructors and participants. And, in my experience, the pieces of jewelry, as well as the metal art form itself, have proven to be a great conversation starter.

Furthermore, I’ve come to sincerely appreciate silversmith classes as they’ve provided another vessel for my creativity while instilling in me a next-level appreciation for handcrafts in general and metal artisans especially.

My most sincere thank you to all the teachers who were kind enough to share their wisdom and skills with us over the years.

Please read further details relevant to your country in the respective scholarship description on www.funding-guide.de.
