About Rayhona

Hey, hey everybody! My name is Rayhona. I am from the ancient Silk Road Town of Uzbekistan – Samarkand. I moved to Germany in February 2018. I have a very long and interesting journey behind me and through my blog, I am thrilled to recount my experiences with all of you.

I have had a passion for natural sciences since my high school days in Uzbekistan. At the young age I started learning German language because it was my big dream to study in Germany. However, it was not easy for me to achieve that what I have now, but I can confidently say that it was worth it. The process of living far away from my family in a foreign country has profoundly shaped my character.

Currently, I am enrolled in a Master’s program for Biomedical Science in the university town – Marburg, located in Hessen. Marburg is not only a place for me where I study, but also a place where I make lots of friends from different parts of the world. I am a very curious person. In my free time I like to walk and take pictures of nature and buildings. Exploring the culinary traditions of different countries is another endeavour I thoroughly enjoy.

I am eager to share with you the memories I have created here in Germany during my student life. Join me in reliving these moments through my blog. Welcome and enjoy the read! 😊
