About Umar

Hi! I am Umar.

I was born in the bustling city of Rawalpindi, renowned not only for its delectable food and ancient architecture but also for its warm hospitality. Since early adulthood, I have been exploring new landscapes, cultures, and people across the globe. Before pursuing my Masters in Germany, I had already visited several Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries, but my curiosity to experience Europe, especially Germany, was unparalleled.

In the past, I accomplished significant projects in collaboration with UNICEF and the Government of Pakistan, which exposed me to the professional world. Additionally, I founded a digital marketing company back in Pakistan. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Media and Communication Science at Ilmenau University of Technology. Living in Germany has been a life-changing experience, immersing me in its
diversity, vibrant culture, and a new language, leaving me amazed every day. Despite being here for just six months, it feels like I have lived here for years, as it has become my second home, largely due to the welcoming nature of its people.

I primarily focus on writing travel blogs to assist aspiring travelers who are unsure where to begin, and as a fellow wanderer, I share valuable tips for beginners. Join me on this exciting journey of discovery and adventure!
