By choosing the appropriate specialisation, the programme prepares students for three specific professional fields: Teaching art at regular and Waldorf schools In conjunction with the Master of Education in Art, the course of studies enables students to gain access to the training period at state grammar schools and comprehensive schools as well as teaching at Waldorf schools. Art Therapy The course of studies creates the prerequisites for the Master's degree in art therapy with the aim of qualifying for the profession of art therapist. Fine Arts In combination with a bridge study of 60 credit points, it is possible to study the Master of Visual Arts. All three postgraduate courses can be studied at Alanus University. Artistic aptitude test\; - Certificate confirming the general higher education entrance qualification (or an attestation from the applicable Ministry of North Rhine-Westphalia as recognised equivalent and/or equivalent EU-legally based achievements). - Proof of artistic aptitude for the course. - In individual cases, admission can be achieved without general higher education entrance qualification ('school leaving qualification'), if outstanding artistic aptitude can be shown in the artistic aptitude test.
