Overview and admission
Study Type
undergraduate
Admission semester
Winter Semester only
Area of study
Annotation
The classical study of fine arts is offered at the ABK Stuttgart in its entirety. This gives students a great deal of freedom to experience artistic methods and practical ways of working. In addition to the recognition and differentiation of artistic talent, the perception and development of one's own artistic (problem) awareness is at the centre of the course. The articulation and presentation of one's own artistic point of view will be practised in class and individual discussions with the aim of classifying one's own and other developments and promoting transdisciplinary thinking. In addition to the practical art component, knowledge of art history, art didactics, media theory and aesthetics form a further focal point in the study of fine arts.
