Annotation

Would you like to support and accompany children in their development in the best possible way and work with them artistically and creatively? For example, you already play an instrument, have singing experience, love to work with language, like to dance or are interested in everything related to media? This course offers you the opportunity to develop personal talents as a special qualification for working with children. Aesthetic and cultural educational practices make an important contribution to childhood pedagogy through their connecting, activating, emotionally appealing and meaningful effects. These are explicitly formulated in the principles of elementary education in all educational plans in all states. Choose between the educational profiles of music, movement and dance, language or media. The degree programme imparts theoretical knowledge, practical and methodical skills and professional competences that enable graduates to act at the interface between the child, family and society and to support the individual developments of children at an early stage looking ahead to the future. The course explores childhood educational concepts and developmental psychology theories and provides comprehensive knowledge about the educational and developmental processes of children aged 0 to 12. As a degree programme with vocational and academic elements, it offers an academically sound and at the same time practice-integrated education. In addition to the Bachelor's academic degree, the course leads to state recognition as a childhood educator qualified to work in various fields of childhood pedagogy.
