Modern Physical Geography combines interdisciplinary elements in the analysis of space-related relationships between people and the environment. International top research and intensive linking of the fields of geomorphology, geoecology, soil science and geoinformatics in Tübingen enable you to become one of these important players and to focus on public interests. Teaching concept and course contents The Master of Physical Geography as a research-oriented course combines a wide range of specialisations in environmental science from basic research to implementation in nature conservation and environmental planning. The solution-oriented analysis and modelling of the environment and its structural elements as well as its sustainable management are central aspects of the course. The regular study period of the Master’s is 4 semesters. Thirty credit points must be achieved in each semester. The course programme includes: • Compulsory modules (30 credits), • Elective modules (48 credits), • Professional practice (12 credits), • Master’s thesis (30 credits).
