Target group
The course deals with the French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese-language literatures and cultures in Europe, Latin America and Africa. Students have the opportunity to choose between three study profiles depending on their interests. Study Profiles: Comparative Romance literary and cultural studies France and Francophone studies Spain and Latin American studies Interculturalism By means of literary and cultural texts as well as literary comparative approaches, the Master's program stimulates a reflective examination of phenomena of cultural alienation and intercultural communication. Interdisciplinarity When studying for a Master's degree in Romance Literature, we attach great importance to a wide range of courses. The course is characterised by the continuous interdisciplinary dialogue with cultural, media and social sciences. Practice and project studies An essential part of the course are study projects with Media, Theatre or Exhibition practical components that are intended to promote both independent and team-oriented learning. Alternatively, a pre-vocational internship can be completed.
