The following topics are dealt with in the application-oriented teaching research projects: Family policies and parenthood, flight and migration, subjective consequences of social inequality and more. In addition to deepening quantitative and qualitative empirical research methods in small groups, this Master's program also offers specialisation options in the following areas: Migration, Education and Life Course Gender Body Knowledge Social Inequality and Institutions An interdisciplinary field of study complements the chosen areas of work and serves to reflect Sociology in the mirror of other subjects or scientific cultures. You complete your studies with the Master thesis, in which you work on a self-chosen topic of Empirical or Theoretical Sociology according to scientific methods.
