Annotation

What makes the internationally oriented degree programme Global Business and Economics special is that the courses are taught in English. Students acquire a basic and practice-oriented knowledge in various fields of economics, e.g. marketing, finance, economics or taxation, and put this knowledge into an international and global context. The curriculum is supplemented by social skills and other foreign languages. In the course of their studies, students have the opportunity to choose from a large catalogue of specialisation modules, such as International Economics or Supply Chain Management, and thus set their own focal points in their studies. In the fifth or sixth semester, students have the option of spending an additional semester abroad at one of our more than 100 partner universities worldwide, where they can further strengthen their intercultural skills (fhac.de/fb07/Partner universities). Then the standard period of study is extended to 7 semesters. The degree course at the FH Aachen is very practical. That means that in addition to current, practice-relevant teaching content, internships, excursions or guest lectures give an insight into professional practice. The department also maintains a large network of local and national companies and is characterised by an international and personal atmosphere. The students are given the best possible support during their studies and there are various advice and contact points at their disposal.
