Admission requirements

- Bachelor's degree in English Studies at Goethe-Universität, German Language and Literature, or an equivalent degree course at a German higher education institution in the same subject area (English or American Language and Literature) or at least an equivalent degree from a German higher education institution in a related discipline (General and Comparative Literature, Romance Language and Literature, German Language and Literature or another modern language, Media Science, Ethnology, Cultural Anthropology) in combination with a minor subject of English or at least an equivalent degree in the same or a related subject area. The examination committee decides on the recognition and comparability of qualifications. -English skills at C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
