The career-integrated Master's degree course "Addiction Therapy and Social Management in Addiction Assistance (MA)" is application-oriented. It is offered in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Weiterbildung in der Suchttherapie gGmBH (German Society for Continuing Education in Addiction Therapy). Admission requirements
Admission requirements: - an academic degree in Medicine, a Diploma degree in Psychology or a Master's degree course in Psychology qualifying graduates to train as a psychological psychotherapist, a Diploma degree course in Social Work or Social Education or Bachelor’s degree course in Social Work with state recognition. -work at least 50% part-time (19.5 hours) in a rehabilitation institution for people with addiction disorders, -a minimum of one year of professional experience in addiction assistance at the beginning of the degree course. - are able to carry out at least six weeks of continuous individual and/or group treatment. - Have successfully completed an aptitude interview before the start of the course.
