Electrotechnical solutions have become an integral part of everyday life. Current topics such as "Industry 4.0", renewable energies", "Internet of Things" or "Smart Home" will continue to offer exciting fields of activity for you as an engineer in the future. In the Bachelor's degree course in Electrical and Information Technology, you can choose one of the three specialisations at the start of the second study semester: Automation Engineering, Energy Engineering - Renewable Energies and Information and Communication Technology. Graduates will be able to analyse problems in the field of system architecture and network planning as well as in the field of hardware and software development in interdisciplinary teams and to develop scientifically sound economic solutions. As application-oriented engineers in the field of Electrical Engineering, you can take on responsibility for tasks in industry, planning offices, public institutions and science. A certificate confirms that this degree course bears the quality seal recognised throughout Europe for common standards in the accreditation of engineering programmes.
