Annotation
High-integrity systems are complex, software-controlled systems. These systems protect people, the environment, organisations and society. They can be divided into two areas of application: - Safety-critical systems (SCS) have a direct impact on the life and health of humans and the environment. They are used in all industrial sectors, e.g. aerospace, automotive, railway and marine systems, power generation, medical technology, SCADA and others. - Mission-critical systems (MCS) have a high criticality with regard to the functioning of an organization, e.g. ERP, CRM and others. A Master's academic degree in High Integrity Systems opens up access to a wide range of professional opportunities in various areas of application in computer science. The development of software and IT services for high integrity systems is crucial for all industries, as well as administrative applications, banking and financial systems.
