The degree programme with a standard three-semester standard period of study is intended for students who have obtained a first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree with 210 ECTS points in electrical engineering and with a focus on energy engineering or a comparable subject area. Admission to the degree programme with a three-semester standard period of study takes place in the summer semester.

Then our Renewable Energy Master's degree course (MEng) could be the right one for you: This degree programme gives you the knowledge you need to take on innovative tasks in industry, the public sector and research. There are a wide range of professional fields in engineering and project management open to you. The areas of responsibility include renewable energies, smart grids, energy storage systems, energy-efficient drives, electromobility, the energy industry and emission reduction. The academic degree also qualifies you for academic work and enables you to study for a doctorate.
Admission requirements
Admission requirements: - A first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy Engineering or a comparable subject with an overall grade of "good (2.5)" and 210 credit points. - Proof (no older than 3 years) of English language proficiency through a certificate of level B2 the CEFR (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate, DAAD test) or a Bachelor's academic degree from an English-speaking region or at least 25 ECTS credits from English-language modules. - CV Further information can be found on the website of the degree course:
