Training as a civil servant of the senior foreign service. The stage I and stage II studies are conducted in Berlin, and work placements in Germany and abroad.

Training within the administration. Information on the selection procedure can be found here: The application deadline for the appointment date at end of July/beginning of August is in September of the previous year. A selection committee selects candidates in a multi-stage selection procedure. In principle, the courses are open to anyone with a university entrance qualification.
