The degree course meets the academic requirements for further qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy (note the current opportunities for this qualification!) and enables you to take up doctoral studies. It does not replace specialist or approach-specific counselling training!
Admission requirements
Study requirements for admission to this degree course are: -\tA successful Bachelor's degree or a comparable university degree in a field of Social Work (e.g. Social Pedagogy, Social Work), Childhood Education or another human, educational or social science degree course with at least an average grade of 2.5 and 210 ETCS points ( Prospective students with 180 ECTS can also be admitted subject to conditions). -\trelevant practical experience of around 640 working hours, -\trelevant examinations totalling 15 ETCS points, and a minimum grade of 2.5 from one of the modules listed below: Specialisation Counselling, Specialisation Development Funding, Specialisation Health, -\tKnowledge of methods of empirical social research in the amount of 5 ECTS.
