Annotation

The Master's degree course is based on a scientifically founded consideration of cultural and cultural education issues and processes with practical relevance. In addition to culture communication, the course also deals with cultural research. The diversity of cultural worlds and identities in modern society is recorded and considered in conceptual projects.

- Bachelor's degree course or Diploma degree in a relevant course worth at least 12 credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) in the subjects "Cultural Education", "Cultural Theory" or "Media Competence". - Final grade of at least “good” (2.5) - Bachelor's degree course or Diploma degree in a related course worth at least 12 credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) in the subjects “Educational Science”, “Pedagogy” or “Education”, provided that 400 additional hours of qualified practical experience in relevant fields of cultural education or cultural work in relevant cultural educational or cultural institutions are proven. The practical hours must have been completed after the start of the first professionally qualifying degree course. - Final grade of at least “good” (2.5)

Tuition fee

No tuition fees are charged. The semester fee is EUR 326.92. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
