Target group
The offer aims at bachelor's graduates in psychology who are looking for a later professional activity in the clinical field, possibly with further training as a specialist psychotherapist after licensure.
Admission requirements
The prerequisite for admission is a relevant professionally qualifying Bachelor's degree in psychology with at least 180 credit points (CP) according to ECTS, whose underlying degree course is accredited according to the higher education law of the federal states, which was successfully completed at a university or equivalent institution of higher education and for which the office responsible for health in the federal state has determined compliance with the professional requirements according to Art. 9 Para. 4 Sentence 2 of the Psychotherapists Act (PsychThG). An equivalent degree is also accepted if it meets the requirements according to art. 9 paragraph 5 PsychThGand the Approbationsordnung für Psychotherapeutinnen und Psychotherapeuten (PsychThApprO). Students who have already obtained their Bachelor's degree at the IPU Berlin, will be given priority in the allocation of places.
