The Master's degree programme in Controlling (full-time) is aimed at prospective students who wish to qualify for demanding specialist and management tasks in Controlling. In addition to the basics of controlling, the course also teaches distinctive skills in strategic and operative corporate management, the interaction between controlling and financial accounting, and the IT knowledge required for this. Controllers take on different roles in everyday working life: They are presenters, advisors, coordinators and sometimes also controllers. In order to do justice to these roles, the programme not only trains professional and methodological competence, but also promotes personal and social competence through seminars and presentations.
Admission requirements
Degree in economics or comparable (business studies at least 50%) with 210 ECTS and a minimum grade of 2.5. We offer applicants with a Bachelor's degree of 180 ECTS the opportunity to make up the missing 30 ECTS by the time they register for their Master's thesis. There are three models to choose from, which are laid down in a binding study agreement with the head of the degree programme. For further questions please contact Mrs. Christine Preis (0621/5203-182 or christine.preis@hwg-lu.de).
