Admission requirements

A 12-month internship at a recognised agricultural or equine training company is a prerequisite for admission to the degree course in Agriculture. Up to eight weeks can be completed during studies up to the end of the third semester. Completed vocational training in suitable occupations (e.g. agriculture, animal husbandry, horse husbandry) and comparable activities are credited. If the number of applicants exceeds the available places in the course, admission is regulated by a selection procedure. In addition to the grade of the higher education entrance qualification, completed vocational training courses are assessed according to their proximity to the degree course subject and the final grade according to a bonus system.
