Annotation
The practical course prepares for a career in international companies. In addition to business and economics aspects, insights and knowledge about Asian society, culture and tradition is conveyed. It is possible to participate in excursions to Asia. Presence events take place on Fridays in the afternoon or on Saturdays. Various communication options via the e-learning portal module. Examinations of all modules can be taken every semester. There are no study or examination fees, only the semester fee and material fees.
Admission requirements
Admission to the Master’s degree programme requires the completion of at least seven semesters of professional qualifying studies in an economics, business/industrial engineering or social science degree programme. At least 210 credits and at least 20 credits from modules with quantitative methods of economic sciences (e.g., micro/macroeconomics, external/internal accounting, controlling, investment and financing), at least 45 credits from other modules with economic sciences content and at least 5 credits from modules with content from mathematics/statistics are required. Additional admission requirement: Proof of knowledge of English to correspond with Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Performance in school represents an achievement that meets the requirements in full (grade ‘good’).

Fees
The University Ruhr West does not charge tuition fees. However, students at the HRW must pay a semester contribution Important for business administration master students: Business Administration Master students please note that, in addition to the semester contribution, the Institute for Combined Studies charges a material procurement fee of EUR 110.
