The Master's degree course in Technical Computer Science provides students with in-depth knowledge and understanding of advanced concepts, methods and technologies of Computer Science and IT-related Communication Engineering. Students work with the latest research and can develop and apply scientifically sound solutions to complex problems.

Admission requirements

The admission requirement is a recognised first certificate of academic degree in a relevant natural sciences or technical course worth at least 210 credit points (CP) in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and an overall grade of 2.5 or better. Any degree course that teaches skills from the fields of Mathematics, Physics or Electrical and Information Technology worth at least 110 CP is deemed relevant. Prospective students who have not yet completed their relevant academic studies can participate in the selection procedure, provided they can demonstrate at the time of applying that: - they require no more than 30 credit points to obtain their final qualification - they have a provisional average grade of 2.5. Enrolment is then subject to the condition that evidence of successful completion is provided by the 2nd semester.
