Admission requirements

The degree course is aimed in particular at full-time educational specialists in child and youth work (according to § 11 SGB VIII), such as educators with state recognition, as well as professionals with a comparable qualification. The following requirements must be met for admission to the degree course: 1. Completed vocational training and education as a state-certified educator or comparable educational qualifications. These can be recognised on request in an individual crediting procedure. 2.Higher education entrance qualification. Alternatively, a successfully completed vocational training and education course of at least two years' duration followed by at least three years' full-time professional experience, in each case in a technically related field, or a successfully completed master craftsman's examination.
