Admission requirements

1. Academic degree of a Bachelor’s course in Geoinformatics or Geography with Geoinformatics (at least 20 ECTS) or Computer Science with Geography as a minor/application subject (at least 12 ECTS) or subject-related courses at a German university. 2. Overall grade of at least 2.99 according to the General Examination Regulations of the University of Augsburg or another equivalent German or foreign academic degree in natural sciences with an equivalent overall grade. 3. Basic knowledge in a programming or script language as well as a minimum Level C1 English. 4. Subject-specific proof: at a minimum, you must have taken a lecture on geoinformatics, a lecture on cartography, a tutorial on geoinformation systems, an application course involving GIS or programming, and a programming course (language irrelevant). Knowledge of GIS is mandatory.
