Annotation
The aim of the multidisciplinary and international Master's degree programme in Adventure and Experiential Education is to impart sound scientific knowledge and methods relating to the systematic analysis of the phenomena of adventure and experience in its social frameworks, its significance for human ontogenesis, its potential for educational processes and the European dimension of the educational approach. In addition, the students should be enabled to organise adventure and experiential educational support and educational processes and interventions as well as competent safety behaviour. The main focus of the Master's degree programme in Adventure and Experiential Education in Marburg is the scientific examination of the phenomena of adventure and experience and their educational content. It takes place in theoretical courses such as seminars and lectures, which are supplemented by adventurous practical units. An aptitude assessment procedure takes place.
