Annotation
The Chemistry Master's degree is based on the very broad spectrum of Chemistry in Marburg: In addition to Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry and Biochemistry are represented in research and teaching in Marburg. The “design” of the M.Sc. course allows students to create “their” course individually. The spectrum of possibilities ranges from classic "Diploma-related" studies to a strong specialisation, largely bypassing the core disciplines. Only 15 out of 120 credit points in total have to be completed in Inorganic, Organic or Physical Chemistry, 63 credit points can be earned in electives that are freely selectable according to certain rules, 12 credit points are for non-chemical modules, 30 for the Master's thesis.
