The Master's degree programme History of International Politics (MAGIP) is a research-oriented, four-semester programme. From a historical perspective, he takes a look at international politics and researches actors, interactions as well as ideas and implementations of international orders. It covers modern history from about 1500 to the present. The degree programme conveys approaches, theories and methods of history and related disciplines that are suitable for the historical analysis of international politics. In addition to the empirical content - the history of international politics - theoretical and methodological training is a core concern of the degree programme. At the end of the course, the academic title Master of Arts (M.A.) in the humanities and social sciences is awarded. The Master's degree programme History of International Politics is divided into the study areas Actors, Structures and Processes, Theories and Methods, Import Area and Graduate Area.
