Further information on the structure of the combination Bachelor's degree course can be found here: In the minor subject sub-course "History of the Modern Age" you will acquire the ability to explain and discuss central structures and processes of modern history. In addition, by working with primary sources of various kinds (textual sources, oral history, image sources, digital sources) you will have the skills to approach sources critically and to develop a more selective point of view. You will develop a historical awareness and can historically locate current issues across disciplines. Due to the multi-faceted nature of working in the field of history, you will acquire skills that can also be used outside of your degree course. An integral part of the degree course is the MarSkills programme, in which you acquire attractive and future-oriented key skills (see ).
