The following areas are mandatory components of the curriculum:, Public Law (state organisation law, fundamental rights, administrative law, European law), Civil law (general part of the BGB, law of obligations, law of property), Commercial and Corporate Law or Labour Law, Private Digital Law (consumer and competition law, protection of personality rights; data protection, digital contract law), intellectual property law, Public Digital Law (telecommunications law, media law, data protection law), Computer Science, Web Technologies, Digitisation and Law, Data Science, Databases in Companies
Annotation
The bachelor's degree course in Digital Law is aimed at students with an interest in law and technology. It does not open access to traditional legal professions. These usually require the second state examination. Double studies (Bachelor and State examination) as well as a change from the state exam courses to the Bachelor course and vice versa is possible.
