Target group
Our graduates are sought-after professionals in various fields in which social responsibility and support of people are the focus. In particular, they work as professional supervisors, guardians and also in the field of legal guardianship as supplementary, absentee or estate administrators or as guardians for unknown parties. The degree course is also aimed at all those who already work in the field of legal representation of people or who would like to work in this field. This includes social pedagogues, social workers, volunteer supervisors, educators and lawyers and offers them the opportunity to specialise.
Admission requirements
Completed university study of six semesters, preferably in the fields of Law, Social Science and Economics at a higher education institution within the jurisdiction of the German Constitution (Grundgesetz) or a foreign university recognised as being equivalent e.g.: Bachelor degrees, Diploma degrees (University of Applied Sciences), completed University (of Applied Sciences) courses to qualify for higher civil service level (administration of justice, administration, foreign affairs, finances) In addition, it is also possible for prospective students without a certificate of academic degree to complete this Master's degree course. The following requirements must be met for this: Proof of completed vocational training and at least five years of relevant professional experience (note: an entrance examination must also be taken).
