If you decide to study Chemistry at Gießen, a highly diverse course with a strong personal support component awaits you. The Bachelor's degree course conveys fundamental knowledge in the four key areas of Chemistry (Anorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry as well as Biochemistry/Bioanalytics). This course is rounded off by a professional, practice-oriented work placement, in which the students are taught practical and theoretical basic knowledge about the working processes in professional fields within Chemistry. In this study stage we want to apply fundamental principles in the sciences, in particular in Chemistry, which are supplemented by additional relevant professional qualifications (EDV, toxicology, law, writing scientific texts). Ultimately, a professional work placement opens doors to potential future employers. Information and events for prospective students are available at: www.uni-giessen.de/studium/askjustus
