Focus

Target group
The course is aimed at graduates who have successfully completed a sports- and health-related Bachelor's degree course, e.g. a B.Sc. in Movement and Health at JLU, with an overall grade of "good" or better. Upon application, it will be reviewed whether a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science with a focus on Sports Science or with additional components in the area of sport, or a completed degree in Medicine, may be recognised as adequate.
Annotation
The Master's combines sport-therapeutic and rehabilitative key areas with insights from competitive sports, integrates adjacent disciplines such as nutritional science and integrates sports and exercise medicine practice components with theoretical training and therapeutic planning.
Admission requirements
Successful completion of a sports- and health-related bachelor's program, such as B.Sc. Exercise and Health of Justus Liebig University, with an overall grade of 'good' or better. Upon application, it will be reviewed whether a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science with a focus on Sports Science or with additional components in the area of sport, or a completed degree in Medicine, may be recognised as adequate. In addition to the formal admission requirements, the following requirements are defined for the degree course: good command of English demonstrated by at least 6 years of English lessons at school. A language test can be taken alternatively.
