Annotation

Psychology tries to understand the experience and actions of people. Why do we perceive the world the way we do? How to explain, predict and improve performance and well-being at work? How do our mental abilities develop? How is our brain structured? How do people experience social groups and how do they behave when interacting with others? How do positive and negative incentives influence our thinking? How do people think and what happens in our brains when we solve problems? Why do people behave so differently? How do disturbances in behaviour and experience arise? How does psychotherapy work? How can learning, thinking and motivation be promoted? How can psychological characteristics be 'measured'? How is experimentation and statistics done in psychology? The Bachelor of Science Psychology of the Department 06 of Psychology and Sports Science deals with the answer of these and many other questions. If, in addition to the compulsory modules, certain elective modules and the professional field internship are studied in a variant, the graduates fulfil the requirements according to the PsychThApprO for admission to a consecutive subsequent M.Sc. programme.
