Annotation
In the degree course in Social Sciences, you will study Sociology and Political Science as well as Empirical Social Research Methods. These are concerned with analysing society, its sub-sections, its conditions and developments, as well as its interplay with the actions of individual participants. Key questions include: -\tHow and whereby do social/political structures develop? -\tHow do they change? -\tHow do they affect participants and how do participants affect structures? While the sociology of these key issues refers to the whole of society and individual sub-sections such as family, gender or work organisations, political science investigates this with regard to the political order of societies in general as well as in individual political fields such as domestic policy, foreign policy and economic policy.
